Dear Kevin,
Thanks for your email! Your book festival sounds amazing — two hours among new books and authors must have been inspiring.
As for me, the last book I read was a detective story by Agatha Christie, and I finished it in just a few evenings. For my literature classes I have to read quite a lot of Russian classics, such as Tolstoy and Chekhov, which can be challenging but rewarding. I usually manage to read for pleasure about half an hour a day, mostly before going to sleep.
Your Spanish film sounds intriguing! What was it about? Who played the main roles? Was it difficult to understand the language without subtitles?
Write back soon,
Alex
