Dear Adam,
Thanks for your letter! It was great to hear from you. Good luck to you and your sister with windsurfing!
In Russia, teenagers are mostly into football, basketball, swimming and skiing. These activities do differ from region to region: in the north, people often go skiing and skating, while in the south, swimming and cycling are more common. As for extreme sports, I wouldn't like to take them up because they seem too dangerous and I'm afraid of heights.
By the way, audiobooks sound fascinating! What genres do you usually listen to? Do you listen to them on your way to school? Who is your favourite narrator?
Write back soon.
Best wishes,
Alex
