Dear Jerald,
Thanks for your letter. Two tornadoes in one summer sounds really scary!
As for your questions, I think storm chasers are driven by curiosity and the thrill of danger, and some of them hope to collect data that helps scientists predict tornadoes better. In my opinion, earthquakes are the most dangerous natural phenomena, because they strike without warning and can destroy whole cities. I believe we will never fully protect ourselves from nature, but better technology may save many lives.
By the way, how did the basketball game end? Which team were you supporting? Do you often watch games with your friends?

Thanks for your letter. Two tornadoes in one summer sounds really scary!
As for your questions, I think storm chasers are driven by curiosity and the thrill of danger, and some of them hope to collect data that helps scientists predict tornadoes better. In my opinion, earthquakes are the most dangerous natural phenomena, because they strike without warning and can destroy whole cities. I believe we will never fully protect ourselves from nature, but better technology may save many lives.
By the way, how did the basketball game end? Which team were you supporting? Do you often watch games with your friends?
