Задание 41 ЕГЭ по английскому языку

1) Yes, I know several outstanding Russian sportsmen, and one of them is Alexander Ovechkin, a famous ice hockey player. He is famous for his incredible goal-scoring records in the NHL and for leading his team to victory in the Stanley Cup.

2) In Russian schools, children are encouraged to do sports through compulsory physical education lessons several times a week. Schools also organise sports clubs, competitions and special events like the Presidential Games to motivate pupils to stay active.

3) I took part in a school cross-country running competition last year. My impressions were mostly positive, because although I felt very tired, I was proud of finishing the race and my classmates supported me a lot.

4) I prefer to watch sports events live rather than on TV. When you are at the stadium, you can feel the atmosphere and the emotions of the crowd, which a screen can never fully convey.

5) In the future I would like to take up swimming seriously. It develops all the muscles, is good for the heart and, unlike many other sports, has a very low risk of injury.
