Dear Morris,
Thanks for your email! It was great to hear from you.
In Russia, the most pressing environmental problems are air pollution from factories and cars, illegal logging and waste management. Many people join clean-up days, sort their rubbish and plant trees. Environmental organisations also run campaigns to protect forests and rivers. I believe we could do more by using public transport, saving energy at home and reducing plastic waste.
By the way, your documentary sounds fascinating. What was it about? Where did you watch it? Would you recommend it to me?
Hope to hear from you soon.
Best wishes,
Alex
