Hi, I wanted to tell you about the two photos I've found for our school project on masterclasses. The first photo shows a cooking class, where adults and children are working together with professional chefs, surrounded by kitchen utensils and ingredients. The second photo shows an art class, where adults and children are painting pictures at easels. The main difference is that in the first picture people are learning a practical, hands-on skill connected with food, while in the second one they are developing their creativity through drawing. Another difference is the setting: the cooking class takes place in a kitchen, whereas the art class happens in a bright studio with easels. As for the advantages, a cooking masterclass is very useful because you learn a real life skill and you can immediately enjoy the results of your work. An art masterclass, in my opinion, is great for relaxation and for expressing your emotions through colour and shape. However, both types have their disadvantages too. In a cooking class you have to follow strict recipes and safety rules, and it can be quite messy and time-consuming. In an art class, on the other hand, the results depend heavily on your talent, so some people may feel frustrated if their painting doesn't look the way they wanted. If I had to choose, I would prefer to attend the cooking masterclass, because I love trying new dishes and I think sharing a meal with others is a wonderful way to spend time.
