Hi, I wanted to tell you about the two photos I've picked for our school project on summer holidays. The first one shows a woman and a girl planting something together in an outdoor garden. The second one shows a father and his son making something out of sand on a sunny beach. So in the first picture the characters are busy with gardening in a green garden, while in the second they are playing on the beach near the sea. Another difference is that the first activity is useful work that gives you real results, whereas the second one is pure fun and relaxation. I think these two photos perfectly illustrate how differently people can spend their summer holidays. As for the advantages, gardening holidays teach children to take care of nature and give them fresh fruit and vegetables. Beach holidays, on the other hand, let you relax completely, swim in the sea and get a nice tan. However, both types have their disadvantages too. Gardening takes a lot of time and effort, and you can get really tired or even sunburnt while working outside. As for beach holidays, they can be quite expensive, and lying in the sun all day is not very good for your health. As a child, I definitely preferred beach holidays, because I loved swimming and building sandcastles with my dad. That's why I chose these photos, and I hope you like them. Let me know what you think!
