Task 4. Imagine that you and your friend are doing a school project “Shopping”. You have found some photos to illustrate it but for technical reasons you cannot send them now. Leave a voice message to your friend explaining your choice of the photos and sharing some ideas about the project. In 2.5 minutes be ready to:
· explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting the differences;
· mention the advantages (1–2) of the two ways of shopping;
· mention the disadvantages (1–2) of the two ways of shopping;
· express your opinion on the subject of the project – say which way of shopping presented in the pictures you prefer and why.
You will speak for not more than 3 minutes (12–15 sentences). You have to talk continuously.

Hi, I wanted to tell you about the two photos I've found for our school project on shopping. The first picture shows a man and a woman choosing clothes together in a clothes shop. The second one shows a man using a laptop at home while a woman sits beside him, so it looks like they are shopping online. These two photos are quite different: in the first one people are in a real store, surrounded by racks of clothes, while in the second one they are at home and everything happens on a screen. The main advantage of shopping in a shop is that you can see and try things on before buying them. Another plus is that you get your purchase immediately and can ask a shop assistant for help. However, it has its disadvantages too: you often have to travel to the city centre, and shops can be crowded, so you waste a lot of time. Online shopping, on the other hand, is very convenient because you can order anything from your sofa at any time of day. It also usually offers a wider choice and lower prices. Still, there are some drawbacks: you cannot check the quality of the goods with your own eyes, and delivery sometimes takes a long time. As for me, I prefer shopping online, because it saves me time and lets me compare prices easily. Anyway, I think these two photos will perfectly illustrate our project. What do you think about them?
