These two photographs show people spending their free time in very different ways. In the first picture, two cyclists are riding their bicycles along a path in a sunny green park. In the second picture, a woman is lying on a sofa at home and using a tablet. The first photo was taken outdoors, in a park full of trees and grass, on a bright day. The second photo was taken indoors, in a cosy living room, where the woman is relaxing on the sofa. The most obvious thing these pictures have in common is that both show leisure time and rest. In both cases people are doing something they have chosen for themselves, not work or study. Another similarity is that both activities help a person relax. However, there are also clear differences. The main difference is the place: one scene is outside in nature, while the other is inside a flat. Besides, the first activity is active and physical, because cycling makes the body work, whereas the second one is passive and calm. The people in the photos also differ in mood: the cyclists look energetic and focused, while the woman looks quiet and comfortable. As for me, I would prefer the way of spending free time shown in the first picture. I enjoy cycling because it gives me energy and fresh air, and after a ride I feel both tired and happy. That is why active rest outdoors is my personal choice.
