Hi, I wanted to tell you about the two photos I've found for our school project called "Jobs". The first picture shows a construction worker in a hard hat who is building a brick wall outdoors. The second one shows a group of surgeons in masks working together in an operating room. These two photos are quite different, and that's exactly why I chose them. In the first photo the person works outside with bricks and tools, while in the second one the people work indoors in a clean, sterile environment. The first job involves physical effort and simple equipment, whereas the second one requires many years of study and precise instruments. One advantage of a construction job is that you can see the result of your work immediately, and it also keeps you physically fit. As for surgeons, their main advantage is that they save people's lives and earn a lot of respect. However, construction work has its disadvantages: it can be dangerous and very tiring, especially in bad weather. Surgery is also stressful, because doctors often work long hours and any mistake can be serious. As for me, I would prefer to be a surgeon, because helping people stay healthy seems more meaningful to me. Besides, this job is well paid and respected in our society. Anyway, I'd like to hear what you think about these photos. Maybe we can use them both to show how different jobs can be.
