Task 4. Study the two photographs. In 1.5 minutes be ready to compare and contrast the photographs:
· give a brief description of the photos (action, location);
· say what the pictures have in common;
· say in what way the pictures are different;
· say which way of spending your summer holiday presented in the pictures you prefer;
· explain why.
You will speak for not more than 2 minutes (12–15 sentences). You have to talk continuously.

Пример ответа
In the first photo I can see a father with his two sons, and they are putting up a tent in a green mountain landscape. In the second photo a mother and her daughter are lying on a beach next to blue water. The first picture shows an active camping trip in the mountains, while the second one shows a quiet rest by the sea. Both photos are connected with spending summer holidays together with family. They also have something else in common: in both pictures people are enjoying their free time outdoors. Another similarity is that both families look relaxed and happy. However, there are some important differences. The main difference is the activity: in the first photo the family is busy doing something useful, while in the second photo the mother and daughter are just lying and relaxing. The location is also different: the mountains with a tent in the first picture and a sandy beach by the sea in the second one. Besides, the first photo shows a father with his sons, and the second one shows a mother with her daughter. As for me, I would prefer the way of spending a summer holiday presented in the first picture. The reason is that I enjoy active holidays in the mountains, and putting up a tent with my family seems like a real adventure. Moreover, such a trip gives you new impressions and brings the family closer together. That is why camping in the mountains appeals to me more than lying on a beach.
