I’ve chosen photo number one. I took this photo last winter in our local chess club, where my younger brother and his friends go every Saturday morning. In the picture you can see several children wearing blue costumes and hats, sitting at a table indoors. They are all busy playing chess, and their faces show how concentrated they are on the game. The blue costumes and hats make them look like a real team, and I think they had just performed in a school play before sitting down to play. The room around them looks calm and quiet, which is perfect for chess. I remember that day very well because I came to pick up my brother after his club meeting. While I was waiting, I noticed how serious and grown-up the children looked, so I quietly took out my phone and took this picture. I keep this photo in my album because it reminds me of my brother’s childhood and his first real hobby. It also shows how much children can achieve when they are interested in something. Sometimes, when I look at this photo, I remember how my brother used to talk about chess at dinner for weeks. I decided to show this picture to you because you once told me that you also played chess as a child. I hope it brings back some happy memories for you too.
