1) Yes, there are quite a few programs for children on Russian TV. Most of them are cartoons, educational shows and programmes about nature and animals.
2) When I was a kid, I used to watch a lot of cartoons and some educational programmes about animals. I also liked shows where children did crafts and experiments.
3) Yes, I think television can have some negative effects on children. If they watch too much TV, they may become less active and have problems with their eyes, and some programmes contain violence.
4) I think TV programmes should be more educational and interactive, with interesting tasks and quizzes for children. There should also be fewer advertisements and more programmes that teach useful skills.
5) Yes, I think it is a good way to learn foreign languages through a TV language programme. It helps you improve your listening skills and learn new words in a natural and entertaining way.
