Задание 41 ЕГЭ по английскому языку

1) I believe environmental problems are among the most serious challenges facing humanity today, because they affect the air we breathe, the water we drink and the climate as a whole. For me personally they are very important, since I want to live in a clean and healthy country and to leave a decent planet to future generations.

2) In my opinion, the most dangerous environmental problem of our time is global climate change, because it leads to extreme weather, rising sea levels and the loss of biodiversity. Unlike local pollution, it cannot be solved by one country alone, so it threatens the whole world and requires joint international efforts.

3) Yes, there are some ecological problems in the place where I live, mainly air pollution from traffic and factories, as well as problems with household waste and illegal dumps. In my neighbourhood people often complain about dirty air in winter and about the lack of proper recycling bins, so these issues are quite noticeable.

4) Yes, there are several ecological activist groups in my region, mostly volunteer movements and student organisations. They organise clean-up days in parks and along rivers, plant trees, collect waste paper and batteries for recycling, and also hold lessons and campaigns to raise environmental awareness among local people.

5) Yes, I fully agree that all of us should contribute to saving the planet, because small everyday actions add up to a big result. To help the environment we can save water and electricity, sort our rubbish, use public transport or a bike instead of a car, and avoid single-use plastic whenever possible.
