Hi, I wanted to share the news about our school project on family pastime. I've found two photos that fit the topic really well. In the first one, two parents and their son are sitting together on a sofa, and each of them is looking at a smartphone. In the second picture, a family is walking along an autumn forest path, and the parents are holding their little child by the hand. The main difference is that in the first photo the family is at home and everyone is busy with their own device, while in the second one they are outdoors and doing something together. Another difference is the mood: the first scene looks quiet but a bit disconnected, whereas the second one feels active and lively. The first type of pastime has a clear advantage: it is calm and convenient, and everyone can relax after a long day. It also lets family members stay in touch with their friends and interests online. However, its disadvantage is that people hardly talk to each other, so they may feel lonely even when they are together. The second type of pastime is good because it brings the family closer and gives them fresh air and exercise. On the other hand, it can be tiring, and it is not always possible in bad weather or when everyone is busy. As for me, I prefer the pastime shown in the second photo. I think walking and talking together creates real memories, and no smartphone can replace that. That's why I would choose these two pictures for our project. Let me know what you think about them.
