Task 4. Imagine that you are doing a project “Tastes differ” together with your friend. You have found some illustrations and want to share the news. Leave a voice message to your friend. In 2.5 minutes be ready to:
– give a brief description of the photos, justifying the choice of the photos for the project;
– say in what way the pictures are different, justifying the choice of the photos for the project;
– mention the advantages and disadvantages (1–2) of the two ways of spending free time;
– express your opinion on the subject of the project – which of these ways of spending free time you would prefer and why.
You will speak for not more than 3 minutes (12–15 sentences). You have to talk continuously.

Hi Alex, I'm calling to share some news about our project "Tastes differ". I've found two photos that fit the topic perfectly, and I'd like to tell you what I think about them. The first picture shows young people playing volleyball in an indoor gym, and the second one shows young women dancing at a colourful party or club. I chose these two photos because they illustrate how differently people can spend their free time. The main difference is that in the first photo the activity is a team sport, while in the second one it is dancing for pleasure. Another difference is the atmosphere: the gym looks calm and focused on the game, whereas the party is bright, loud and full of energy. Besides, the first activity is clearly organised and competitive, and the second one is spontaneous and free. As for the advantages of playing volleyball, it keeps you fit and teaches you to work in a team. However, it can be tiring and you need a gym, equipment and other players. Dancing at a party, on the other hand, is a great way to relax, meet people and express yourself. Still, it can be noisy and expensive, and it is not really a proper workout. Personally, I would prefer playing volleyball, because I enjoy active games and the feeling of being part of a team. That's all for now, let me know what you think. Talk to you soon!
