Hi, I'm recording this voice message because we can't send the photos for our school project "The games people like" right now. I've picked two pictures that show very different ways of playing, and I'd like to explain why I chose them. The first photo shows a boy sitting at a desk in his room, wearing headphones and playing a computer game. The second photo shows two girls sitting together on a sofa and playing chess. The main difference is that in the first picture the boy is playing alone, while in the second picture the girls are playing together. Another difference is the type of game: one is a digital game on a screen, and the other is a traditional board game. I think both pictures are great illustrations because they show two completely different kinds of games that people enjoy. Computer games have some clear advantages: they are exciting, and you can play them with people from all over the world without leaving your home. Chess also has advantages: it makes you think logically and helps you concentrate. However, computer games have disadvantages too, because you sit for hours in front of a screen and it can be bad for your eyes and your back. As for chess, it can be quite difficult for beginners, and some people find it slow and boring. As for me, I prefer computer games, because they help me relax after school and I can choose a game to match my mood.
