Hi, I wanted to tell you about the two photos I've picked for our school project called "Seasons". The first picture shows a family walking through an autumn park, with parents and a little girl surrounded by fallen leaves. The second one was taken in winter and shows children sitting on their sledges in the snow. So the main difference is obvious: one photo is about autumn and the other is about winter. Another difference is what people are doing — in the first picture they are just walking and enjoying the scenery, while in the second one the children are actively playing outside. As for autumn, its great advantage is the beautiful golden scenery, and it is also a good time for walks without freezing cold. On the other hand, autumn has its downsides: the weather is often rainy and grey, and the days get shorter and shorter. Winter, in its turn, is wonderful because of all the winter activities like sledging, skating and snowball fights. Besides, winter brings cosy holidays and family time. However, winter also has disadvantages: it can be really freezing, and the short dark days sometimes make people feel tired and gloomy. As for me, when I was a child I definitely preferred winter, because I loved sledging and making snowmen with my friends, and the New Year holidays made it feel truly magical. Anyway, I think these two photos will illustrate our project perfectly. Let me know what you think and whether we should add a photo of spring or summer as well. Talk to you later!
