Task 4. Imagine that you are doing a project “Tastes differ” together with your friend. You have found some illustrations and want to share the news. Leave a voice message to your friend. In 2.5 minutes be ready to:
– give a brief description of the photos, justifying the choice of the photos for the project;
– say in what way the pictures are different, justifying the choice of the photos for the project;
– mention the advantages and disadvantages (1–2) of the two hobbies;
– express your opinion on the subject of the project – which of these hobbies you would prefer and why.
You will speak for not more than 3 minutes (12–15 sentences). You have to talk continuously.

Hi! I've just found two great photos for our project called "Tastes differ", and I really want to share them with you. The first picture shows a young man and a young woman painting together at an easel indoors. The second one shows a smiling man in winter clothes holding ice skates at an indoor skating rink. I chose these two photos because they show two completely different leisure activities, which is exactly what our project is about. The main difference is that in the first photo the people are doing a calm, creative activity at home, while in the second photo the man is taking part in an active winter sport. Besides, painting is usually a quiet individual hobby, whereas skating is a more energetic and social one. As for painting, its main advantage is that it develops your imagination and helps you relax after a busy day. However, it can be quite expensive, because good paints, brushes and canvases cost a lot of money. Skating, on the other hand, is great for your health and gives you a lot of positive emotions. The downside is that you need special equipment and a rink nearby, and it can be dangerous if you fall on the ice. Personally, I would prefer painting, because I'm not very good at sports and I enjoy creating something with my own hands. So, what do you think about these photos for our project?
